The minimum advertising spend the IADs interface to reduce by half the Apple

In an effort to increase the popularity of its iAds and attract smaller companies log on, Apple has reduced the minimum advertising spend half the IADs interface from 1 million to $ 500 000 dollars. It is hoped that the new price for interactive advertising will help you to fill in the slots and renewal of existing contracts for a service, which is the rumored "hurting" after his strong start.

A report published earlier this month, it was stated the Apple game to sell advertising, but the IADs interface digital Daily's John Paczkowski says the company's lower price to "reverse the trend, placing multiple markers on the platform, and a growing portion of their annual ad spending on the Apple."

Although the iAds launched with incredible interest from some large advertisers, the reason for the decline in popularity, it is believed that, due to Apple's strict control over the advertisements, which caused a delay in the implementation of the Active Directory Directory service on the market and has rozladilo many advertisers.

It's not only Apple, who wants to service success, but

Apple Inc. (AAPL) new Data Center built for iTunes and MobileMe

Oliver HaslamTweetEmail

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) shareholder meetings are always great to find a few bits of interesting information and one that took place today was an exception. According to participants, AppleInsider, Apple inform shareholders that will support the new data center, the company recently completed construction in North Carolina, iTunes and MobileMe service.

500 000 sq m is said to have been ubiquitous since the start of construction on the new data center can be used. Proposals that Apple has worked, streaming, subscription model for iTunes should make sense, as well as the claim that MobileMe was a decrease in its current price tag of $ 99. Both options will lead to an increase in the data over the Apple, but we have the servers still no nearer to consciousness, only what the new device is actually used.

Obviosuly speculation will continue now that Apple has confirmed the Center will house the iTunes and MobileMe service when it is not beyond the realm, the possibility that the whole thing can be just as mundane, that require more space for all those movies on our Apple TV HD stream.

Fingers crossed it already more than that!

The possibility of iPad 2 featuring retina display also has a widely discussed, but most industry experts believe that we won't see the second gen product.

Apple shipped about 15 million iPads in 2010, however, this year, facing competition from Motorola and RIM. Tablet on the market currently is dominated by the iPad, but now it appears that users are willing to experiment with different form factor, and looks for more energy and an increase in functionality (ports?).

iPad 2 also expects a processor feature, but we can not see the A5 no model with a smaller screen size. During the demo of the product to 2. March would likely we see Apple announce the IDF 4.3, which can introduce new applications such as Photo Booth for iOS.

Apple Publishes App Store Subscription Guidelines (AAPL)

Stephen Northcott

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has both published, and clarified its Subscription system which is linked to the iTunes AppStore; for products like digital magazines and newspapers. It was introduced with News Corp’s “The Daily”, and has now been rolled out to all publishers.

In essence the new rules simply clarify what we all thought the deal was. AAPL considers that any customer that they bring to a publisher’s door they deserve a 30% cut of the subscription fee. What they don’t want (and can’t really do) is muscle in for a share of a publisher’s revenue that comes from their own websites and outlets.

In order to ensure that everyone gets a fair deal, Apple has made it mandatory that any subscription app offering a subscription package outside the AppStore, offers the same deal via the app, using Apple’s payment system. It is then up to customers where they subscribe, and Apple get’s its cut on any that choose to do so via the AppStore. Simple!

For me it is really a no brainer what I will do, when I have my subscriber hat on.

If I buy via Apple, it costs me no more, and I get to keep all my subscriptions managed effortlessly via one interface – in one payment system. I also know that when I cancel a subscription it will stay cancelled – or at the very least I have a company I feel I will be able to approach to clear up mistakes.

There’s another upside to subscribing via Apple’s payment system. You choose whether or not your personal info goes to the magazine, as you have an opt out option. One which, again, you can trust because it’s Apple, not a publisher; large or small.

At the same time Apple has given enough ground to publishers to allow them to see the App Store as an outlet they can work with.

There is one final condition that might make publishers rankle a little bit, and that is that if they offer subscription packages outside the App Store they are not allowed to link to that one from the app directly.

Do you think Apple have been fair? Who would you rather pay for your subscriptions? Have your say in the comments…

iOS 5: Five Features We Would Like to See from Apple

Now that Apple’s iOS has some major competition when it comes to smartphone operating systems, what would we like to see the company to do to ensure that iOS 5 features stay ahead of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7, HP’s webOS, and Google’s Android? Well, we’ve put together a list of 5 things we think Apple could change, improve, or introduce to iOS 5.

See what you think of our thoughts on iOS 5 and leave us a comment to let us know yours!

Notifications

Firstly, we think the way in which our iOS devices currently handle notifications should be a lot different. The current system, although not terrible, could be a much better. My biggest issue with notifications at the moment is a simple but frustrating one: if I receive a notification on my iPhone and I didn’t notice it pop up, when I next unlock my iPhone that notification disappears. 9 times out of 10 I unlock my device too quickly to even notice there was a notification, and once it’s gone, it can be nightmare to figure out what be iPhone was trying to tell me.

A system in which my notifications remain on my screen until I tap to remove them would be nice, or maybe another page to the left of my home screen

Apple Currently Uses 60% of The Worlds Touch Panel Capacity

Stephen Northcott

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) long ago foresaw the value of Flash RAM, and grabbed a large chunk of the global supplies year after year because of their massive sales of iPods, iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch. Because of that manufacturing capacity has had to grow (sometimes painfully) and the price of Flash RAM has often fluctuated in line with supply volumes because of their requirements. Ultimately though, today we can thank Apple to some extent for being able to buy 16GB Thumb Drives for as little as $15.

Because Apple are not just the number one consumer of these components, but also the biggest growth company moving forwards in the world today, manufacturers have been more than happy to come along for the ride. Often giving Apple preferential treatment because of their massive buying power.

It’s a symbiotic relationship for Apple and the companies that make their components. Apple’s continued growth fuels the manufacturing companies growth, and in turn both can produce better and better products more and more efficiently. So getting those manufacturers to focus more attention on other smaller businesses when they are all ready at full, or near full capacity, with their best customer, can be a problem for some.

Fast forward to today and Apple are now also the biggest consumer of LCD Touch Panel Displays globally. In total they consume around 60% of the entire World’s production capacity. Such a large slice that other PC manufacturers are actually having supply problems, and have themselves had to start making manufacturing partnerships to try and produce more LCD panels for their own uses.

Meanwhile Apple have also invested yet more money themselves in as yet undefined manufacturing projects, which many believe are aimed at producing yet more volumes and higher quality (read higher resolution / DPI) LCD Touch Panels.

On top of all that Apple are already looking forwards to OLED displays for future projects, as was borne out this week with news of a internal industry only job posting from Apple looking for experts in the field of OLED panels, with focus on yield capacity expertise.

Other manufacturers hoping for an easier manufacturing and supply line experience this year had better keep working on expanding their own manufacturing lines, as Apple seems to be looking for more, and not less when you consider their plans and projections for 2011.

What do you think of Apple’s massive component consumption? Have your say in the comments…

Apple Opening Its Largest Chinese Retail Store in Shanghai

Apple has been strengthening the presence of its retail store with 318 stores in 11 countries which saw over 75 million visitors last quarter. During ‘Back to the Mac’ event Apple’s Tim Cook mentioned that Chinese stores get the most number of visitors when compared with any other store.

According to WSJ Apple is now preparing to penetrate the Chinese market further as it plans to open a new store in Shanghai which is rumored to be the largest in China.

The company is planning to open a new store – it’s biggest in China – on Shanghai’s famous Nanjing Road, an Apple spokeswoman has confirmed to China Real Time after news of the plan appeared in Thursday’s Beijing Youth Daily.

This seems to be a very obvious move by Apple to accommodate the increasing number of visitors to its retail store and offer everyone a great shopping experience. Apple retail stores over the last few years have helped in selling the latest iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Macs to people who had never used an Apple product before.

Another rumor reported recently suggests that Apple is planning to open a new retail store in Manhattan’s Grand Central Terminal too. With more than $40 billion in cash they are certainly making a good move to establish more retail stores to retain its dominance.

Do you think Apple should continue to open more retail stores? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

Apple Job Posting Hints At Future Television

According to a recent job posting by Apple, the Cupertino outfit could be working on a new television, reports 9to5 Mac.

What’s interesting here is the distinction between standalone displays and at TV. With Apple feeling it necessary to distinguish between the two, many are speculating that the fabled Apple Television could finally be on the horizon. Would people buy what would basically be a 40inch Cinema Display with built-in AppleTV? Maybe, maybe not.

Let’s not forget that rumours of a Television coming out of Cupertino have been around for a while now. Entrepreneur Jason Calacanis claimed a networked HDTV was on the cards all the way back in October 2008, though that obviously didn’t come to fruition.

The real question is whether Apple really needs to be entering a new market at this time. The iPhone is selling like hot-cakes, and a whole new category of computer was created when the iPad was launched in 2010. Just how thin can Apple’s resources be spread before they reach breaking point? The company is already notorious for having a surprisingly small staff – can they really work on so many avenues at once?

Of course if I could answer that question I’d be sat in a boardroom in Cupertino right now!
